A stage production in Southampton is casting a versatile male actor with a strong comedic presence and a legitimate theater voice. This is a paid opportunity for a live performance scheduled in late July. Auditions will be held via Zoom, and rehearsals will take place outside the Hamptons area.
Job Responsibilities

Perform a lead or supporting role in a live musical theater production

Requirements

Mordecai is Haman’s rival. He is a Jewish scribe for the Persian Empire. He has conviction and great courage. He raises his cousin Esther to fear the Lord and when she becomes Queen, he encourages her to go before the King to save her people. He does not bow to the wicked Haman even though the King required it.

A Brooklyn outdoor theater production is now casting equity and non-equity actors for Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare. This Shakespeare casting call is open to performers of all genders, with most tracks involving doubling. The production will take place in Carroll Park and is seeking bold, vocally strong actors ready to perform in an outdoor environment without sound amplification.
This is a paid theater opportunity offering a stipend for the showcase run. Actors with classical training, strong text clarity, and musical abilities are encouraged to submit.
