Fashion Advertisement Open Call – Casting Call
Job Detail: We are holding an open casting call for a non-union advertisement on behalf of a major fashion brand. This advertisement aims to showcase unconventional, diverse, and offbeat talent for three distinct roles. You don’t need any prior acting experience. The shoot will occur in either Los Angeles or New York (to be confirmed by August 4th). Still, we welcome talent from anywhere in the U.S. Production will cover travel and accommodation expenses for skills outside the shoot location.
Job Responsibilities: Selected talents will be cast for three lead roles, each representing a unique character that aligns with the creative vision of the fashion advertisement. The skills must be willing to participate in a callback and wardrobe fitting (if based in NYC) and be available for their shoot days during the specified date range.
Requirements:
- Talent must be legally allowed to work in the United States, limited to U.S. citizens or green card holders. 0-1 visas are not eligible for this opportunity.
- All roles require talents to be 18 or older (proof of age will be required).
- Role 1: Female / Non-Binary, Alternative Gen-Z, Age: 18-21 (18+), All ethnicities (preference for talent of Japanese descent).
- Role 2: Female, Young Millennial or Gen Z, Age: 18-26 (18+), All ethnicities.
- Role 3: Male, Slightly Bookish Young Millennial, Age: 18-26 (18+), All ethnicities.
Compensation Details: This is a paid opportunity; the exact rate will be negotiated with the selected talents.
Usage: The selected talents will be featured in the advertisement for three months. Their appearances will be used in various mediums, including digital platforms, email marketing, organic and paid social media, press features, third-party retailer/wholesaler promotions, in-store displays, and mall on-site displays. The estimated usage start date for the advertisement is November 1st.
Exclusivity: No exclusivity clause means talents are not bound to work exclusively for this brand during or after the advertisement campaign.
Dates:
- Callback Date: August 10th (In-person for NYC-based talent; via Zoom for talents based elsewhere)
- Wardrobe Date: NYC-based talents will attend a 2-3 hour fitting at our offices on a TBD date during the week of August 14th or 21st.
- Shoot Dates: The shoot will occur between August 23rd and September 1st. Each lead role will be needed for one shoot day. The shooting schedule will encompass three consecutive days within this range.
