Job Description

A film/TV production team is seeking talented non-union actors for a recorded table read of the horror feature film It’s In The Blood. The project follows a family of vampires who reconnect over the holidays while under threat from malicious home invaders. This table read will serve as a plot and dialogue showcase for the concept piece and will be digitally recorded, allowing participation from any location.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform assigned character roles during a recorded script table read.

• Accurately capture the tone, emotions, and motivations of the assigned character.

• Collaborate with the production team to bring authenticity to the concept showcase.

• Participate in a digital recording session (remote work possible).

Requirements

• Non-union actors only.

• Ability to perform in a recorded table read format.

• Comfortable portraying complex characters within a horror/drama setting.

• Availability to participate in October 2025 recording sessions.

Roles Available

• Leora (Female, mid-to-late 50’s, Black): A vampire who has lived for centuries. Neurotic, self-destructive, and estranged from her adoptive family of young vampires. She imposes a paranoid worldview on those around her.

• Julien (Male, early 20’s, Middle-Eastern or South-Asian): A kind and well-intentioned vampire, Leora’s adoptive son. Often mediates family drama with charm and sarcasm.

• Connor (Male, mid-to-late 20’s, any non-white ethnicity): A nervous vampire visiting his girlfriend’s family. An artist with a love for antiques, he struggles to control himself under pressure.

• Sam (Male, mid-to-late 30’s, white): A vampire hunter and antagonist. Obsessed with eliminating vampires, he has spun into a religious psychosis and is dangerously unstable.

Compensation

• Rate: Unpaid.

Snowmobilers for Feature Film

Job Description
An upcoming feature film is casting real snowmobilers for leading roles. This project is seeking performers who have the thrill, skill, and confidence to ride on camera. The story will feature exciting snowmobiling sequences, offering a unique opportunity to combine athletic ability with acting talent.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform as a lead character in a feature film

• Must have snowmobiling experience

Job Description

Seeking background actors for an upcoming production requiring basketball players to appear in a casual outdoor game. This role is open to ACTRA members, ACTRA Apprentices, and EX-ACTRA background performers.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray a basketball player in a casual outdoor setting.

• Demonstrate realistic basketball movements including dribbling, shooting, and court presence.

• Work collaboratively with the director and production team to capture authentic gameplay.

• Maintain professionalism and follow on-set instructions.

Requirements

• Must be ACTRA, ACTRA Apprentice, or EX-ACTRA (Background).

• Black basketball players (1–2 roles available).

• Real basketball experience or strong physical coordination required.

• Must be comfortable dribbling, shooting, and moving naturally on the court.

• No dialogue required, but strong physical presence and natural movement are essential.

Compensation Details

• ACTRA Tier 4 Background Rates (per ACTRA guidelines).
