Job Description
A new Netflix adaptation of Little House on the Prairie is casting the role of Little Puma — an Indigenous male character of the Osage Nation, in his early 20s. As the younger brother of White Sun, Little Puma is strong-willed, good-hearted, and sometimes hot-headed. He’s navigating the balance between youthful defiance and the responsibilities of growing into manhood. This emotionally rich role is part of a powerful period story about identity, family, and resilience.
Character Overview – Little Puma
Little Puma is fiercely loyal to his older sister and holds a clear disdain for the settlers encroaching on their land. He’s not afraid to challenge them or express his frustration. But beneath the bravado lies a young man struggling to define his role in a changing world, caught between youthful bravado and the pull of maturity.
