Bi-racial. Korean. Grew up in Canada. An optimistic go-getter and loves helping people. Great singing voice but has stage fright. Hannah goes to work in Korea as an English tutor to strengthen her university application and connect with her Korean identity. Her assumptions about the world of K-pop-and herself-are challenged as she nurtures her secret passion for performance and discovers what it means to be her authentic self. Talent must be Fluent in English. (Korean and other languages are a plus so please make a note). Talent must be able to sing and dance. LEAD.

Ideally 18+ years old but to look 16/17 years.
Korean, preferably bi-racial. Grew up in Canada. Athletic and very charming. Loves K-pop and has a talent for dancing. Undisciplined. A recent high-school graduate, Leo tags along with his younger sister Hannah to work in Korea. At One Mile Entertainment, he starts from the bottom ranks and learns that it’ll take hard work, not just talent and charm, to make his dreams of becoming a K-pop trainee come true. Fluent in English. Korean and other languages are a plus so please make a note. Great singing voice and excellent dance ability especially in hip/hop. LEAD.

Ideally 18+ years old but to look 16/17 years.
Korean. Supreme is the son of diplomats and born with a silver spoon in his mouth. With all the entitlement in the world, Supreme has never had to work hard at being excellent. He’s athletic, creative and his magnetic personality has always put the spotlight on him. He is One Mile’s future superstar and all eyes on him – except from his parents, who are always travelling and working which has put a chip on his shoulder that he’s getting tired of carrying. Fluent in Korean and English and other languages are a plus so please make a note. Seeking a great singer and excellent dancer. LEAD
[CHAN MI]
Ideally 18+ years old but to look 16/17 years.
She is everything you want in a K-pop star – beautiful, glamorous and talented, but paired with being emotional, petty and sensitive, Chan-Mi is an intimidating force of nature at OME. Growing up poor, there is so much at stake with her becoming successful at OME. After her parents died, she became the caretaker of a younger sister who she left with relatives in the country as she went to Seoul to pursue not only her dreams, but a way out of their life of hardship. Touted as the next big female K-pop export, Chan-Mi is supposed to stay single, stay focused, and stay out of trouble, all of which she casts to the wind in being in a relationship with Supreme. Fluent in Korean – conversational English. Talent must be a great singer and dancer. RECURRING PRINCIPAL
Storyline: Hannah Shin travels from North America to Korea to teach English to kindergarten students but is reassigned to a K-pop school.

- Non-Union OCP (On-Camera Principal): $4,000 CAD, plus a 15% agent fee.
- Day Rate: $600 CAD per day, plus a 15% agent fee.
East Asian Drummers for Film/TV Production
Job Description:

Mikayla – Child Role in “The Bank Teller” (Mini-Series)
Job Description:
We are casting for the role of Mikayla, a significant child role in the mini-series, The Bank Teller. Mikayla is a young girl, aged between 8 to 10 years old, of African descent. This character is key to the storyline, and we are looking for a talented young actress who can bring authenticity, innocence, and emotional depth to the role. All applicants must be able to speak with a general American accent.
Job Responsibilities:
- Character Portrayal: Play Mikayla with charm and sincerity, reflecting the emotions and experiences of a young child in the story.
- Collaboration: Work well with the director, co-stars, and production team to create engaging and authentic scenes.
- Dialogue Delivery: Ensure lines are delivered naturally and with the required emotion, appropriate to the character’s age and situation.
- Adaptability: Be open to direction and capable of adjusting performance based on the director’s feedback.
Requirements:
- Experience: Open to ACTRA and ACTRA Apprentice members. Prior acting experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Accent: Must perform with a general American accent.
- Appearance: Female, Black, aged 8-10 years.
- Location: Quebec locals only (applicants must reside in or near Quebec as the shoot will take place in this area).
- Parental Consent: Since this is a child role, parental consent and presence on set are required for all shoot days.
Compensation:
- Rate: $150 per episode (ACTRA MIP).
- Episodes: 4-episode series.
Casting Call: Female Pool Shark Body Double for Eyewear Campaign
Job Description: We are casting a highly skilled female pool player to serve as a body double for an actress in an upcoming eyewear campaign. The selected candidate will perform in scenes that require advanced pool-playing skills, ensuring the shots appear seamless and professional. While this role involves a body double, the focus will be on skillful execution rather than recognizable features. The ideal candidate will closely match the height and complexion of our lead actress and be confident performing in a lively party atmosphere.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the body double for the actress, executing advanced pool shots during the campaign shoot.
- Confidently handle a pool stick, align shots accurately, and execute them flawlessly in front of a crowd.
- Collaborate with the director and production team to ensure the visual continuity between the actress and the body double.
- Maintain professionalism and follow directions to achieve the desired results for the campaign.
Requirements:
- Female, aged 25-40.
- Height: 5’8” to 5’10”.
- Medium brown complexion (please refer to the photo in the casting notice for reference).
- Must be a highly skilled pool player, capable of performing advanced shots with confidence.
- Comfortable performing in a dynamic environment surrounded by party onlookers.
- Experience in similar roles is a plus but not required.
- Must be available to shoot in Toronto.
Compensation:
- Pay: $3,000 if selected.
- This is a non-union campaign.
