A dreamer, torn between his fantasies and the calculating logic his father tried to instill in him. He was sent away from his family in Kyiv, Ukraine to study in Canada but finds it hard to adapt to the reality of his life as a broke, lonely student in Toronto. Yet, he’s determined that no matter what, he’ll never go back. Because of his strict, orthodox upbringing, he struggles with his emerging feelings for his friend, Maksym. He finds himself torn between his desires, his conservative upbringing, and finding acceptance. All while trying to figure out a way to stay in Canada after his student visa expires. Thin and tall. Languages – Fluent Russian, English. $218/day. LEAD

A Russian student from St. Petersburg. He came to study in Canada as a way to escape from a claustrophobic, conservative, and controlling family back home. He is impulsive, rash, and confused. He reacts based on instinct and has never had the ability or chance to really self-reflect and find his own identity. He tries to keep his emotions buried and is ill-equipped to deal with his feelings and like Alexei, he feels alienated as an immigrant in Canada. He struggles with feelings of guilt about leaving his home and mother behind. So, he works part-time as a food courier to send money back home to support her. He becomes increasingly conflicted with his true feelings for his friend Alexei as they embark on a fake relationship together. Broad shouldered. Languages – Fluent Russian, English $218/day. LEAD

Job Responsibilities

Job Description
A feature film production is seeking a young supporting actor for a family-driven story centered around animals and emotional storytelling. Job Responsibilities
