FENIX360 (formerly called FENIX MUSIC) is looking for musicians, actors, models, dancers, composers, filmmakers, comedians, writers, directors, visual artists, collectives, venues, radio stations, influencers, organizations, and philanthropists who have social media, a website, and ideally, a youtube video that showcases their craft (although it’s not mandatory to have everything). The interview would be about you and your life/career in the arts, and it would be 10-15 minutes long over Zoom (online). In addition, we’d ask you to join the FENIX360 app (formerly called FENIX MUSIC), which is an app that primarily showcases musicians, but also welcomes artists from all crafts and more. Job Responsibilities
- Perform as a musician or singer in a production set in 1972.
- Recreate the look, energy, and musical atmosphere of the early 1970s.
- Perform as part of a jazz trio, backup vocal group, or soul band.
- Soul band musicians may perform drums, guitar, horns, or similar instruments.
- Follow musical and production direction while on set.
- Collaborate professionally with other performers and the production team.
Requirements
- Musicians and singers with strong performance abilities.
- Jazz musicians, backup singers, and soul band performers are encouraged to apply.
- Existing bands are welcome to apply together.
- Must be comfortable performing music appropriate to a 1972 setting.
- Must be available to work in Syracuse, New York.
