Casting Call: Real Families for Feature Film Set in the 1980s
Job Description: Grant Wilfley Casting, INC. is seeking real families to portray fairgoers at a Spring Season State Fair set in the 1980s for a feature film shooting in Denville, NJ. This opportunity involves portraying typical family activities and interactions in a state fair setting, providing a realistic backdrop for scenes in a Bruce Springsteen biopic starring Jeremy Allen White.
Job Responsibilities:
- Act naturally and interact with family members and other fairgoers in various fair settings, contributing to the lively atmosphere of a state fair.
- Participate in background scenes which may involve various fairground activities.
- Work under the direction of the film crew to carry out scene-specific actions and movements.
Requirements:
- Families consisting of members who can convincingly portray a cohesive unit from the 1980s.
- Open to all ethnicities. Men should have longer/shag hairstyles, and women can have any hair length, with curly hair and perms encouraged.
- Must be comfortable working in both interior and exterior settings and around atmospheric smoke.
- Attend a costume fitting in New Jersey prior to filming.
- Full day/night availability is required as filming may extend to longer hours.
- Not a SAG-AFTRA covered role; valid identification is required to complete payment forms.
- Should be local to New Jersey or able to work as locals.
Compensation:
- $176.10 for 10 hours, with overtime payable beyond these hours.

Handling the inward and outward payments of invoices for my production company which is “ Art-Spire Film Studios” alongside myself. 4.) Assisting with duties on and off set before, during and after production. 5.) Liaising between myself and the post production team. 6.) Helping to prepare publicity materials. 7.) You will also be assisting to arrange meetings and events and also my schedules as well. 8.) Attending to all office duties on set. 9.) Help with various administrative work 10.) Process paperworks 11.) Managing production accounts and expenses

This is a short documentary airing on a major news network in Summer 2021. We are filming in mid-March. Travel and expenses will be provided if necessary. This is a non-union production. Covid protocols will be strictly adhered. Tests will be provided for all talent and crew.
