Project Details: “Freak the Mighty” is a new musical based on the book of the same name. The musical is currently in development and will have various readings in late 2024 (exact dates TBD).
Roles Available:
- Maxwell Kane
- Character Description: Maxwell is a teenage boy with an extremely large and/or tall physical stature from any ethnicity. He is also a confident singer and serves as the narrator of the story.
Job Responsibilities:
- Attend virtual auditions and callbacks as scheduled.
- Participate in rehearsals and readings as required.
- Collaborate with the creative team to bring characters to life.
- Perform assigned roles in readings and potential future performances.
Requirements:
- Age: Must be a teenage actor.
- Singing Ability: Must be a confident singer.
- Physical Characteristics: Must meet the specific physical requirements for the roles (Kevin has dwarfism, Maxwell has a large/tall physical stature).
- Ethnicity: Open to all ethnicities.
- Experience: Prior acting experience is preferred but not required.
- Availability: Must be available for virtual auditions, callbacks, rehearsals, and readings as scheduled.
