Job Details: We seek talented individuals to join our non-union/student short film project titled “FALKO.” This film falls within the neo-noir, crime, and drama genres, delivering a compelling narrative that delves into the dark depths of manipulation, trust, and deceit. The project will be shot over three days in the OKC Area from October 20th to October 22nd.
Job Responsibilities: Selected actors will embody their respective characters and bring their unique personalities to life on screen. You will work closely with the director and fellow cast members to create a captivating and emotionally engaging performance that resonates with the film’s themes. Acting abilities will be crucial in conveying the intricate layers of each character’s personality and motivations.
Requirements:
- ALDO (20s) – Co-lead Role: An orphan with kindness and a genuine nature. You should be able to capture the essence of a young man struggling with moral dilemmas. Prior acting experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- DANTE (40s): A character characterized by protectiveness, love, and fearlessness. Your portrayal should convincingly embody these traits, enriching the story’s emotional depth.
- ANNA (20s): You will portray a character tied to an unpaid debt, and your performance should reflect the complexities of her situation. Experience in conveying emotional vulnerability will be valuable.
- FELIX (40s): As a successful business owner, you should bring a sense of authority and confidence to the role. Prior acting experience is desirable.
- YOUNG ALDO (10): A brief appearance as a young Aldo reflecting his upbringing. No prior acting experience is required for this role; enthusiasm and the ability to take direction are essential.
Compensation: This is an unpaid opportunity; however, we will provide the following:

- Copy of the final film for your portfolio and personal use.
Synopsis: In “FALKO,” the struggling Aldo encounters a dangerous game of manipulation when the enigmatic Cowboy offers him a chance at a job.
