The film explores the story of an invisible man navigating themes of isolation, discrimination, and communication in a world where invisibility defines a race. The ideal candidate will craft an immersive audio experience that captures the emotional tone and enhances the storytelling of this ambitious production.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and mix a powerful soundscape that deepens the film’s emotional and narrative impact

• Handle dialogue editing, sound effects, and final mastering for delivery

• Collaborate with the director and colorist to achieve a cohesive creative vision

• Use sound to highlight the contrast between visibility and invisibility within the storyline

Requirements

• Experience in sound design, mixing, and mastering for film or similar media

• Strong storytelling sense through audio and attention to emotional detail

• Ability to work independently or collaborate remotely

• Vancouver-based candidates preferred, but remote applicants will be considered

An independent feature film is seeking a reliable Driver / Production Assistant (P.A.) for a one-day shoot. The ideal candidate will provide transportation for three actors, assist on set during production, and ensure everyone is safely driven home after wrap. The production offers a friendly, organized work environment with an experienced crew.

Job Responsibilities

• Pick up and transport three actors to and from the filming location.

• Assist the production team with on-set tasks throughout the shoot.

• Ensure safe and timely travel for cast and crew after wrap.

• Communicate effectively with the production team and remain available throughout the shoot.

• Maintain a professional and positive attitude while representing the production.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

• Must be comfortable driving at night.

• Previous production experience is an asset but not required.

• Reliable, punctual, and professional.

• Must be available for the full duration of the shoot day.
