Job Description

A paid children’s casting call is seeking two young performers for a non-speaking product video featuring creative building toys similar to LEGO-style construction sets in British Columbia. The production is looking for outgoing, confident children who genuinely enjoy playing with toys and can remain naturally engaged on camera. Selected talent will interact with the building products while following simple direction in a relaxed, small-scale production environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Appear in a non-speaking product video featuring building toys.
• Naturally play, build, and interact with the featured products on camera.
• Follow simple instructions from the production team.
• Remain comfortable, expressive, and engaged during filming.
• Work cooperatively with the other child performer and production team.
• Participate in product-focused shots for digital advertising and promotional use.

Requirements

• Seeking a Black female child, ages 7–12.
• Seeking a Black male child, ages 5–8.
• Outgoing, confident personality and an interest in playing with toys.
• Comfortable appearing and performing naturally in front of a camera.
• A parent or legal guardian must remain on set for the entire filming session.
• Talent should understand that finished footage cannot be used in personal portfolios or demo reels due to client confidentiality.

Compensation

$50 CAD/hour with a 3-hour minimum guarantee.

Minimum booking: $150 CAD per child.
