Casting Call: Charity Film – “Family Ties”

Job Description: We are currently casting for an upcoming charity film entitled “Family Ties”. The film aims to tell a heartfelt story of a working-class family navigating the joys and challenges of everyday life. We are seeking to cast a set of siblings and a teenager who has recently passed his driving test.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in reading sessions with the director and other cast members.

  • Attend all scheduled rehearsals and be willing to take direction and feedback.

  • Be prepared to engage in activities typical of family life to bring authenticity to the role.

  • Be available for all shooting dates, which will be finalized post-casting.

Requirements:

  • Jack: Male, aged 16-17, has just passed his driving test. Must convincingly portray the excitement and responsibility that comes with this new phase of life.

  • Sibling – Boy: Male, aged 6-10, energetic and expressive.

  • Sibling – Girl: Female, aged 3-5, spirited and photogenic.

  • Families should identify as working class.

  • Applicants must be based in London. Proximity to filming locations will be considered.

  • No acting experience is necessary; we’re looking for natural talent and a genuine representation of a working-class family.

Compensation:

  • This is a charity film, and roles are voluntary.

  • Travel expenses and meals on shooting days will be covered.
