INSTRUCTIONS: Please bring 1 resume and 1 headshot stapled for us to keep. We are seeing six artist at a time in the room for general questions. Have a read prepared just incase we ask you for one. We will not ask everyone to read.

PROTOCOL: THERE will be a line outside so please dress chilled/bring water. Come with tons of personality and style. We are looking for those who stand out!

PARKING: Plenty of street parking but ride share is encouraged. Watch all signs for restrictions.

VIP: If you have received a VIP PASS, please make sure to bring it printed and/or show it on your phone. You will have priority between 2-3pm. If you arrive later, you may have a wait time.

ETC: Callbacks are virtual will be given a week after via email. We are only going Sunday. Last call is at 5:50pm. We will collect resumes and headshots from anyone left.

  • Roller Bladers: Experienced roller bladers (not skaters) comfortable performing in an event setting.

  • Must be available on the evening of January 24th in Austin, Texas.

  • Ability to take direction and adapt in a lively event environment.

Compensation

Mascot Performer – Brand Activation Event

Job Description
A live event is seeking a professional mascot performer to wear a full costume representing a convenience store brand. The performance will take place during a scheduled activation in Harrisburg, PA. This role involves wearing a heavy costume for several hours while engaging with event attendees. Strength, stamina, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this high-energy role.

Job Responsibilities

  • Wear and perform in a branded mascot costume

  • Stay in costume and in character between 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM

  • Interact with event guests in a fun and friendly manner

  • Follow all on-site security and safety protocols

  • Work closely with a designated handler for assistance

Requirements

  • Height between 5’7” and 5’10”

  • Men’s shoe size of 10 or smaller (required for costume fit)

  • Physically capable of managing a 40–50lb suit

  • Must submit materials before the deadline for background clearance

  • Positive, team-oriented attitude

Compensation

  • Paid event performance

  • Travel stipend included

  • Handler role also available for those traveling together
