Character Description: We are currently seeking a talented and dynamic actor for the role of the Male Lead in our upcoming short film, “Unveiled Echoes.” The character is a young black male with brown eyes who is pretty tall and should convincingly portray an age range between 17 and 20. The Male Lead is the story’s heart and drives the narrative with his emotional depth and relatable presence.
Job Responsibilities:
- Bring the character to life through a convincing and authentic portrayal, capturing the emotions, struggles, and growth that the character experiences throughout the film.
- Collaborate closely with the director and fellow cast members to create a cohesive and impactful performance.
- Memorize and deliver dialogue effectively, conveying the character’s journey and interactions with honesty and vulnerability.
- Contribute creative ideas and insights during rehearsals and discussions to enhance storytelling.
Requirements:
- Experience in acting, preferably with a portfolio showcasing previous work in films, theater, or other relevant media.
- Ability to emote effectively and convey a wide range of emotions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the production team and fellow actors.
- Age should visually appear between 17 and 20 years old.
- Ethnicity: Black.
- Physical attributes: Brown eyes, fairly tall.
- Flexibility to work in London and be available for shooting during the mid-late October timeframe.
Compensation:
- The selected actor for the Male Lead role will receive a competitive compensation package, including a fixed fee for their performance.
- In addition to the monetary compensation, the actor will gain valuable experience and exposure through participation in a creative and professionally produced short film.
- Meals and accommodations will be provided during shooting days.
