Casting Call for Portrait Photography Project

Job Description

A new portrait photography project is casting individuals of all ages and backgrounds for a book or zine publication. The shoot will feature a mix of studio and environmental portraits as part of an ongoing artistic series capturing authenticity and presence. The project will be photographed in Los Angeles.

Job Responsibilities

• Pose for a short portrait session (a few hours max)

• Participate in either a studio or on-location shoot

• Bring natural energy, character, and personal style to the portrait session

• Be comfortable in front of the camera and follow light creative direction

Requirements

• All ages and ethnicities welcome

• Must be based in or able to self-report to Los Angeles

• Seeking individuals with unique and authentic presence

• No prior modeling experience required

Compensation

• Rate: $150 per shoot day (sessions will last a few hours per person)

Casting individuals with visible skin conditions to be scan talent performers for an upcoming interactive media project. This project seeks authenticity and real individuals who are comfortable being scanned or recorded for digital content creation.

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in a 3D scanning or performance capture session

• Stand or sit for scanning and imaging under production team direction

• Possibly provide short statements or movements, depending on session type

• Be available for a one-day commitment during the project window

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in New York City

• Seeking individuals with one or more of the following:

  • Jaundice

  • Telangiectasias

  • Rosacea

  • Rhinophyma

• Open to all genders, ages, and backgrounds

• Must be comfortable participating in a technical and visual capture session

Compensation

$438 for up to 4 hours of work. Rate is inclusive and covers the full scanning session.
