CASTING CALL – BUSINESS OWNERS – FILMING IN SYDNEY
We are on the hunt for real Sydney based business owners to feature in a documentary style campaign for a popular financial payments company. We are after business owners operating with true passion and pride.
Looking for business owners that fit into the following categories.
1. RESTAURANT OWNER
Looking for someone who runs a lived-in family run institution. They are a much loved part of their community and have been working in hospitality for years.
2. HAIR SALON OWNER
Looking for a salon owner who runs a warm and stylish establishment and has a staple of loyal customers.
3. WAREHOUSE OWNER
This business owner could be running a startup with a smaller warehouse space or a more established business with a larger warehouse.
SHOOT DATES: 7th – 12th of March 2022 (1 x shoot day)
*Business Owners will only be required for one of the shoot days within the window listed above.
**Applicants must be comfortable potentially filming at their place of business with a small production crew
***Please note that all precautions are being taken by production and the client to make sure talent will be working in a clean and safe environment. COVID safe plans will be adhered to on set.
TALENT FEES: Selected Business Owners will receive $4,000 AUD for their involvement and will receive an additional fee if their business location is used as a location for filming.

Job Description: We are casting men and women aged 20 to 75 years old for an upcoming UTE TV commercial. The commercial will be filmed in the Goulburn area and seeks individuals who embody the rugged, hardworking spirit of country life. We are looking for farmers, tradies, bushies, mechanics, tow truck drivers, farmhands, and similar roles who are authentic and can represent the UTE lifestyle with genuine character.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in the filming of a TV commercial, showcasing the rugged and hardworking lifestyle associated with UTE vehicles.
- Follow the direction of the production team to deliver an authentic portrayal of your role.
- Be available to travel to the Goulburn area for the duration of the shoot.
- Work collaboratively with the production crew to achieve the desired outcome for the commercial.
Requirements:
- Men and women aged 20 to 75 years old.
- Must have a rugged, authentic look that represents the country lifestyle.
- Prior experience in similar roles (farmer, tradie, mechanic, etc.) is highly preferred.
- Ability to travel to the Goulburn area for the shoot.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to take direction well.
Compensation:
- Paid roles ranging from $3,000 to $8,000, depending on the specific role.
