Casting Call – ACTRA Actor for Supporting Role “Dave” in Quiet Father

Job Description
A supporting role is now casting for Dave in the heartfelt short film Quiet Father, shooting in the Greater Toronto Area. Dave is a loyal, long-time customer of the lead character, Victor. Friendly, familiar, and seasoned, Dave adds texture to Victor’s world and emotional journey. This is a paid role for union ACTRA actors.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray Dave with grounded realism and subtle interpersonal warmth

• Participate in any scheduled rehearsals and filming days in GTA/Toronto

• Deliver lines naturally in support of the film’s emotional tone

• Work collaboratively with the cast and crew to support the story

Requirements

• Male, Caucasian

• Age range: 40s to 60s

• Union: Must be ACTRA

• Ability to portray an established rapport and cultural comfort

Compensation

• Paid union role

• ACTRA rates apply

• Credit in a professionally produced short film
