Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified abseiler or high ropes specialist for an upcoming Australian Government commercial. The selected talent will be required to demonstrate their expertise in abseiling in a safe and controlled environment, performing on high ropes as part of the commercial shoot. This role is ideal for someone with extensive experience and qualifications in high ropes work. The shoot will take place in either Sydney or Adelaide.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform abseiling or high ropes work in accordance with safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure that all stunts and high ropes actions are performed safely and effectively.
  • Follow direction closely to ensure the shoot runs smoothly and captures the required footage.
  • Be available for one shoot day within the specified date range.

Requirements:

  • Must be aged 25 years or older.
  • Must be a qualified and experienced abseiler or high ropes specialist.
  • Must be based in Sydney or Adelaide and able to work as a local hire.
  • Ability to follow strict safety guidelines and work comfortably at heights.
  • Previous experience in commercials or on-camera work is a plus but not required.

Compensation:

  • Talent fee: $7,000 AUD for one shoot day.
  • Fees are plus superannuation, less tax.
