- Description: Curtis is the film’s central character, embodying an athletic and rebellious nature. His dual heritage has shaped his unique perspective on life, and he is deeply connected to music and culture. Curtis’s journey forms the heart of the narrative, and the actor portraying him must convey his complex emotions and growth throughout the film.
Requirements:
- Curtis (Lead Role):
- Must be a male actor aged between 15 and 19.
- Should identify as mixed race, specifically of Afro-Caribbean and White British heritage.
- Must have a natural athleticism and physical presence, capable of expressing Curtis’s rebellious nature.
- Ideally based in the Midlands or Birmingham or available for filming in that area.
- Experience in acting is a plus, but newcomers with raw talent are encouraged to audition.
