We are casting real groups of male + non binary identity friends for an exciting BBC-backed short film. This can be 2 real mates or more.
Based anywhere in England.
You don’t need to be an actor to apply. Open to all levels of experience.
About the mates:
Male/Non-Binary Friends
16-21 years old
African, Caribbean or MENA heritage.
Streetwise kids living in the suburbs, who rides bikes and party. They are a boisterous lot, but fundamentally good innocent.
A group of mates who are incredibly close and have an uspoken bond.
Professional paid if you land the role. This casting will also be going to agents.

Job Description
An upcoming feature film is seeking an outstanding male lead actor for a character-driven role filming in the UK. Casting is specifically looking for a gay LGBTQ+ actor who is Irish or can deliver an authentic Irish accent, ideally with ties to the Irish Traveller community. Real boxing skills are required for the role, so performers with genuine fight training and ring experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities

Perform as the lead character in a feature film with emotional range and strong screen presence

Deliver an authentic Irish accent consistently across scenes

Perform boxing action safely and believably using real boxing technique

Collaborate with directors and scene partners, taking adjustments quickly

Maintain continuity in performance, physicality, and character choices throughout production
