Job Description: Atlanta Fashion Week (ATLFW) is seeking dedicated hair and makeup volunteers to join our team for an exciting and dynamic fashion event. This is an amazing opportunity for aspiring hair stylists and makeup artists to gain hands-on experience, work alongside industry professionals, and be part of one of the biggest fashion events in the region.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating hair and makeup looks for runway models according to the specific requirements of each fashion show.
- Collaborate with designers and stylists to ensure the models’ looks align with the theme and vision of the show.
- Be available to touch up models’ hair and makeup throughout the event to maintain consistency and professionalism.
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene and safety while working with tools and products.
- Work closely with the backstage team to ensure smooth and timely preparation of models before they hit the runway.
Requirements:
- Volunteers must have a passion for hair styling or makeup artistry.
- Previous experience in hair or makeup for events or shows is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Must be able to take direction and work as part of a team.
- Professionalism and punctuality are a must, with a willingness to adapt to the dynamic needs of the event.
