Job Detail: We are seeking a dedicated Casting Assistant to join our team and assist us during a busy period over the next few weeks. While prior casting experience is not mandatory, having a background within the entertainment or related industry will be advantageous, especially in terms of familiarity with industry terminology. This temporary position is based in Oxfordshire, specifically between Bicester and Banbury.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the casting team in all aspects of the casting process, including but not limited to:
- Audition coordination: scheduling and managing auditions for talent.
- Communication: liaising with talent, agents, and production staff.
- Documentation: maintaining accurate records of auditions and talent profiles.
- Research: helping to identify potential talent for specific roles.
- Set preparation: assisting in setting up audition spaces.
- Provide general support to the casting director and team.
- Help maintain a positive and efficient casting environment.
- Be a reliable and proactive team player who adapts to changing needs.
Requirements:
- A background within the entertainment or related industry is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with industry terminology and practices is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be located in or near Oxfordshire, specifically between Bicester and Banbury.
