All performers who are hired to perform in both shows will receive a $1000 pre-opening bonus and a $1000 closing bonus as remuneration for maintaining tracks in both shows.
In addition to the salaries listed below – a weekly per diem of $210 will be paid.
Housing and Transportation are included once on the road.

- Lt. Joseph Cable in SOUTH PACIFIC/Henri Baurel in AN AMERICAN IN PARIS. 25-32 (Incredible Tenor/ Wonderful Actor). One actor to play both Lt. Cable in South Pacific and Henri Baurel in An American in Paris. Lt. Joseph Cable 25-32 (Incredible Tenor/ Wonderful Actor- $1000 a week.
- Luther Billis in SOUTH PACIFIC & Mr. Z in AMERICAN IN PARIS 30s-40s. Male. Baritone. Comic Relief,- $700 a week
- Mme Baurel In AMERICAN IN PARIS & Ensemble in SOUTH PACIFIC 45 to 60 years old, all ethnicities female. Strong Singer. – $600 a week.

Job Description
A new theatre production, Liberation, is seeking a talented Kenyan or East African actor to portray Jomo Kenyatta. This production, co-produced by the Manchester International Festival and the Manchester Royal Exchange, will commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Pan-African Congress held in Manchester in 1945. The play is music and movement-based, creating a powerful ensemble-driven experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray Jomo Kenyatta, a 54-year-old Kenyan anti-colonial activist and political leader
- Deliver an authentic and compelling performance reflecting the wisdom and leadership qualities of Kenyatta
- Collaborate with the ensemble cast in a movement and music-based production
- Participate in rehearsals and production meetings as required
Requirements
- Male actor of Kenyan or East African heritage, aged 45-57
- Must confidently deliver a Kenyan accent
- Strong stage presence with the ability to embody the character’s charisma and wisdom
- Prior theatre experience preferred but not required
- Available for production dates: 26 July – 26 August 2025
