Job Responsibilities: We are seeking talented and passionate performers for the following key roles in the non-union tour of “Little Women, The Musical.” Join our production and bring these beloved characters to life on stage.

[JO MARCH]

  • Age: 21 to 28 years old to play 17-23
  • Ethnicity: All ethnicities
  • Character Description: The protagonist, Jo, is a strong-willed, adventurous, and brave young woman who stands up for her beliefs. She should possess a great sense of humor, an amazing singing voice, and the ability to be a star performer.
  • Vocal Range: E3-A5 (Belt/Mix)
  • Compensation: $900 per week

[LAURIE LAURENCE]

  • Age: 21 to 28 to play 18-23 years old
  • Ethnicity: All ethnicities
  • Character Description: Laurie Laurence is the charming, bright-eyed boy next door. He should exude considerable charm and charisma.
  • Vocal Range: Bb2-Bb4 (Tenor)
  • Compensation: $800 per week

[PROFESSOR BHAER]

  • Age: 25 to 45 years old
  • Ethnicity: All ethnicities
  • Character Description: Professor Bhaer is a German professor known for his proper manners. He is a boarder in Mrs. Kirk’s boarding house.
  • Vocal Range: G2-F#4 (Baritone)
  • Compensation: $700 per week

Requirements:

  • All candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Prepare a brief monologue and a 16-32 bar musical selection showcasing your vocal range. Bring sheet music; an accompanist will be provided.
  • Be prepared to participate in a dance/movement audition, so dress appropriately.
  • Headshots and resumes are encouraged.

Compensation Details:

  • Compensation varies by role, as specified above.
  • Additional details regarding travel, accommodations, and other benefits will be discussed with successful candidates.

Rehearsals May 24 to June 16 in NYC
Rehearsals June 18 to 24 in Fayetteville, Arkansas
Preview performances June 24 to 26 in Fayetteville, Arkansas
Rehearsals for Japan from July 22 to August 5
Rehearsals and performances in Japan from August 8 to 28.
Pay $600 a minimum week for all roles,
Higher salary for the roles of Zach, Diana, and Richie based on experience level.
Per diem, housing and travel are also covered for all roles while on tour.
No housing or travel to NYC for rehearsals it is a NYC based tour
Hotels are 4 stars in Japan and 3 stars in Arkansas

Roles:
[ZACH]
Dynamic and charismatic director/choreographer of a Broadway show.
28-45 Leading Male Actor who dancers or moves extremely well, but be capable of looking like a dancer. This role does not sing. . Looking for a very strong actor. Pay is Min $800/week.
[RICHIE]
An accomplished dancer who sings extremely well. African-American, energetic.
Mid 20’s. Tenor. Pay is Min $700 a week.
[DIANA]
24 to 29 years old, Hispanic female. Accomplished dancer who sings very well. Warm, energetic and extremely likeable. Mid 20’s. Mezzo. Pay is min $800 a week.
[MAGGIE]
18 to 27 years old, all ethnicities female. An accomplished dancer who sings very well. Likable girl next door. Mid-20’s. Soprano with a solid mix-belt… Must have the final notes of “At the Ballet” solidly 8 shows a week.

Pay is $600/week
