Job Description
A film/TV production team is seeking talented non-union actors for a recorded table read of the horror feature film It’s In The Blood. The project follows a family of vampires who reconnect over the holidays while under threat from malicious home invaders. This table read will serve as a plot and dialogue showcase for the concept piece and will be digitally recorded, allowing participation from any location.
Job Responsibilities

Perform assigned character roles during a recorded script table read.

Accurately capture the tone, emotions, and motivations of the assigned character.

Collaborate with the production team to bring authenticity to the concept showcase.

Participate in a digital recording session (remote work possible).
Requirements

Roles Available

Leora (Female, mid-to-late 50’s, Black): A vampire who has lived for centuries. Neurotic, self-destructive, and estranged from her adoptive family of young vampires. She imposes a paranoid worldview on those around her.

Julien (Male, early 20’s, Middle-Eastern or South-Asian): A kind and well-intentioned vampire, Leora’s adoptive son. Often mediates family drama with charm and sarcasm.

Connor (Male, mid-to-late 20’s, any non-white ethnicity): A nervous vampire visiting his girlfriend’s family. An artist with a love for antiques, he struggles to control himself under pressure.

Sam (Male, mid-to-late 30’s, white): A vampire hunter and antagonist. Obsessed with eliminating vampires, he has spun into a religious psychosis and is dangerously unstable.
