Job Description

A major automotive commercial is seeking talented Black pianists across Canada for a paid non-union commercial project. This opportunity is open to outgoing individuals between the ages of 25 and 45 who play piano at an intermediate to advanced level. No previous acting experience is required, making this an excellent opportunity for musicians looking to appear in a national commercial.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform piano for a commercial production.
• Participate in a brief audition if shortlisted.
• Attend wardrobe fitting and rehearsal if selected.
• Appear in one day of commercial filming.
• Work collaboratively with the production team during filming.

Requirements

• Black pianists, ages 25–45.
• Intermediate to advanced piano skills.
• Outgoing and comfortable being filmed and interviewed.
• Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
• Must be available for auditions, wardrobe, rehearsal, and filming in Toronto if selected.
• Willing to travel to Toronto if required.

Compensation

• $675–$7,275, depending on booking and usage.
• $75 wardrobe appointment.
• $600 rehearsal.
• $600 for one filming day.
• If travel is required: $600 travel day, $300 per diem day, and $100 per diem.
• Additional $2,000–$4,000 if featured in the final commercial.
