Logline: On a late walk home, Ash realizes his presence is making the woman ahead of him feel unsafe. While grappling with his own fears he does his best to manage this new dynamic with cis-women.
ROLES
- Ash: 25-35 years old, Trans-Male, Open Ethnicity. Ash is grounded and reserved with a socially anxious energy – only amplified by the night’s events. Always quietly on guard and over analyzing his expressions are subtle, revealing more than he’d ever say out loud. Ash’s voiceover, the window to his thoughts, is what leads us through this story.

Job Description
Seeking background actors for an upcoming production requiring basketball players to appear in a casual outdoor game. This role is open to ACTRA members, ACTRA Apprentices, and EX-ACTRA background performers.
Job Responsibilities

Portray a basketball player in a casual outdoor setting.

Demonstrate realistic basketball movements including dribbling, shooting, and court presence.

Work collaboratively with the director and production team to capture authentic gameplay.

Maintain professionalism and follow on-set instructions.
Requirements

Must be ACTRA, ACTRA Apprentice, or EX-ACTRA (Background).

Black basketball players (1–2 roles available).

Real basketball experience or strong physical coordination required.

Must be comfortable dribbling, shooting, and moving naturally on the court.

No dialogue required, but strong physical presence and natural movement are essential.
Compensation Details
