The La Jolla Playhouse is seeking talented contemporary dancers who can sing for the ensemble cast of the world-premiere musical 3 Summers of Lincoln. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative new production, showcasing both dance and vocal abilities. The role requires versatile performers who can contribute to the dynamic storytelling of the show through dance and song.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform contemporary dance routines as part of the ensemble in a theatrical setting.
- Sing as part of the ensemble, supporting the musical numbers.
- Participate in rehearsals, incorporating both dance and vocal performance.
- Collaborate with the choreographer, director, and other cast members to create a cohesive performance.
- Maintain physical and vocal stamina for multiple performances.
Requirements:
- Ages 20s-40s, all ethnicities welcome.
- Excellent contemporary dance skills, with experience in performing in a theatrical or musical setting.
- Strong singing ability; must be able to harmonize and perform as part of a group.
- Comfortable with learning choreography and adapting to various dance styles.
- Available for rehearsals and performances as scheduled.
