Film Synopsis: Set in the late 1990s, the story follows eight-year-old Sasha and her Hungarian immigrant family as they settle on Vancouver Island. The narrative unfolds with the family dynamics being tested by Jeremy, Sasha’s oldest brother, whose erratic behavior brings turmoil to their lives. Reaching a crisis, the family seeks aid from a social worker. Fast forward to the present day, Sasha, now grown up and working as a social worker, confronts her own family’s past in a twist of fate.
Roles Available:
HENRY (Principal Role)
- Gender: Male
- Age: Appears 8-10 years old
- Ethnicity: Hungarian or European origin (appearance-based); no accent required
- Character Traits: Henry is a deeply introverted and reserved boy. He struggles with self-esteem but is innately gentle and caring. Henry is curious, sweet, and enjoys drawing, playing games, and spending time with his brother Felix. His demeanor is quiet, and he prefers to observe rather than be the center of attention.
- Appearance: Long brown hair in a bowl cut, big brown eyes, and soft facial features.
- Special Note: The role may require the performer to appear in swimwear.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in scheduled rehearsals as directed by the production team.
- Deliver performances in line with the director’s artistic vision.
- Collaborate with fellow cast members and crew to ensure a cohesive performance.

Requirements:

Compensation Details:
