Blackjet, a boutique branding & creative consultancy, is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Integrated Producer for our Toronto office. 

The Integrated Producer reports to the VP, Digital & Content. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Pioneering the refinement of the production process.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams throughout the lifecycle of the project; establish and set expectations on how the team will work to complete projects and team objectives.
  • Manage schedules, budgets, assets, and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverables dates are clearly communicated, understood, and executed upon.
  • Work with the accounts team to accurately scope projects, be involved in Discovery, and all stages of traditional & online content projects including dealing w/ actra and non-union talent. 
  • Launch and manage multi-platform content marketing campaigns.
  • Familiarity working across multiple creative disciplines; experience working with or at advertising agencies. 
  • Soft skills: conscientious, entrepreneurial spirit, solid work ethic, organized, and driven.
  • A diligent project leader who makes everyone in the team understand exactly what their role is and what is required of them, and holds them accountable to that. 
  • Experience working on simultaneous projects for a variety of clients and does so exceptionally without letting the quality of any project suffer.
  • Manage resource assignments to the project, and proactively identify resource challenges.
  • Work with the creative team to execute creative briefs.
  •  Gather bids from vendors, manage and source creative teams.
  • Actively monitor project risks and scope creep to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address them in advance.
  • Responsible for reporting and bottom-line accountability.
  • Work with the Accounts team to consistently manage client expectations, ensure delivery of the highest quality service, and solicit and act on client feedback.
  • Communicate and document project status to team members, and management on a regular basis; escalate issues accordingly via the appropriate channels.
  • Recap and create debriefs for every completed project; facilitate discussions on lessons learned and new knowledge gained; document properly and share.
  • Oversee and execute on content collection and content population in Content Management Systems.
  • Review and address weekly resourcing requirements as required, replying to triage/status emails with updates.

Requirements

  • 5+ years agency producers experience managing projects in an agency environment
  • Experience managing project budgets for marketing, creative or technology projects
  • Knowledge of production, animation, editing, audio and post-production.
  • Solid understanding of production principles
  • Understands all facets of both online and traditional productions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; experience developing statements of work and client estimates.
  • Strong prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, project management & planning skills.
  • A fearless approach to process improvement.
