Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Director (1st AD) to join our production team. This role involves overseeing the logistics and management of the film set, ensuring the project runs smoothly from start to finish. You will work closely with the film director, cast, and crew to ensure the schedule stays on track and the production meets its deadlines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle documentation, including risk assessments, call sheets, and script supervision.
- Supervise and plan shooting schedules, costume coordination, and ensure seamless communication between departments.
- Oversee cast and crew management, ensuring all team members are informed and prepared.
- Report directly to the film director, assisting with planning and problem-solving to keep the production running smoothly.
- Provide on-set supervision, ensuring that all aspects of production, including time management and coordination, are executed efficiently.
Requirements:
- Preferred experience: 6 months to 2 years in a similar role or in film production management.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in problem-solving and project management.
- Flexibility with scheduling is essential as production times may vary.
- Ability to manage high-pressure situations and maintain focus on the overall schedule and deliverables.
