Job Description: “Rutka: A New Musical” is a world premiere indie-rock musical set in 1943 war-torn Poland, capturing the life of Rutka and her friends living in a Jewish Ghetto. Based on the real diaries of Rutka Laskier, the musical explores themes of resilience, hope, and the human spirit amidst the backdrop of World War II.

Responsibilities:

  • Portray the character of Yaacov, Rutka’s father, with depth, authenticity, and emotional resonance.
  • Sing with strong folk/indie rock sensibilities, ensuring vocal performance meets the required range and style.
  • Participate fully in all rehearsals, contributing to a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Work closely with directors, other cast members, and crew to bring the musical to life.

Requirements:
