Job Description
A new telemovie is seeking Fiji-based talent for small speaking roles. Filming will take place between September 1st–20th, 2025. These roles involve delivering a few lines and require availability for 1–2 shoot days. This is a paid opportunity exclusively for local actors, and no New Zealand applications will be accepted.
Job Responsibilities

Job Description: We are urgently seeking a strong, confident, and outspoken Māori wāhine toa between the ages of 35-50 for a paid acting role in an upcoming TV series. The character must be fluent in te reo Māori and embody the strength and spirit of the Taranaki region. This is a unique opportunity to bring a powerful Māori wāhine character to life on screen.
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray a key character in the upcoming TV series, embodying the traits of confidence, strength, and fluency in te reo Māori.
- Collaborate closely with the director and production team to deliver an authentic and compelling performance.
- Attend all scheduled rehearsals and filming sessions in Taranaki.
- Engage with the script to accurately represent the cultural and linguistic nuances of the character.
Requirements:
- Must be a wāhine Māori aged 35-50 years.
- Fluent in te reo Māori.
- Confident and outspoken, with strong acting abilities.
- Must reside in the Taranaki region.
- Prior acting experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work well within a team and take direction.
