Job Responsibilities

• Edit long-form podcast and interview content into engaging short-form videos
• Create compelling visual narratives that enhance storytelling
• Develop content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other digital platforms
• Source and incorporate archival footage, imagery, memes, screenshots, and cultural references
• Collaborate on social media strategy, content packaging, and audience growth initiatives
• Craft attention-grabbing hooks and platform-specific content formats
• Help refine and evolve the brand’s visual identity
• Optimize content for engagement, retention, and shareability

Requirements

• Strong video editing experience with a creative storytelling approach
• Excellent editorial judgment and content selection skills
• Deep understanding of social media platforms and digital culture
• Knowledge of storytelling, pacing, audience retention, and visual communication
• Ability to identify and highlight compelling moments from long-form conversations
• Experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
• Strong understanding of trends in media, lifestyle, fashion, and internet culture
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and detail-oriented
• New York City-based candidates preferred
