A micro-budget horror short film titled Hot Mess is casting actors for a dark, horror-comedy story exploring the line between hook-up culture and predatory behavior. Set during a college party, the film follows a shocking turn of events when a date reveals a terrifying secret. This non-union production will feature mature themes and practical effects, including facial prosthetics.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray assigned character in a horror-comedy short film
- Deliver strong performances aligned with the film’s tone and themes
- Participate in rehearsals and filming as scheduled
- Work collaboratively with cast and crew on set
Requirements
- Lucy: Female, early to mid 20s, 5’2”–5’5”, Latina preferred
- John: Male, early to mid 20s, 5’5”–6’2”, any ethnicity
- Tyler: Male, early to mid 20s, 6’0”–6’5”, Caucasian
- Comfortable performing in a project with mature themes
- Must not be allergic to latex (prosthetics will be used)
- Ability to provide headshots and contact information
- Must be available for a 1–3 day shoot
Compensation
- Lucy: $200/day
- John: $175/day
- Tyler: Paid (rate disclosed upon selection)
