A bold, satirical short film is casting key roles for a 1980s-set zombie horror-comedy with a political twist. The story follows Flynn, a zombified ex-miner, who must battle vampire Thatcher to save Britain from her undead army. Equal parts retro parody and social commentary, this project combines horror, humor, and heart in a stylized genre piece. Filming will take place in the UK, and the tone is gritty, strange, and unapologetically anti-establishment.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform lead, supporting, or background roles in a darkly comedic zombie narrative

• Collaborate with the director to deliver character-driven, satirical performances

• Engage in light stunt work or zombie physicality where applicable

• Help bring exaggerated, expressive characters to life in a politically charged story

Requirements

• Flynn (Lead): White male, aged 18–25, physically expressive, able to portray transformation from zombie to humanized character

• Howell (Supporting): White male, aged 35–60, must embody a rugged, grounded political figure

• Thatcher (Antagonist): White female, aged 40–70, expressive and commanding, must deliver satirical monologues with dark charisma

• Chef (Background): White male, aged 18+, eccentric energy, capable of stylized movement and presence

• Must be UK-based and available for local filming

• Comfortable with genre storytelling, makeup/prosthetics, and horror-comedy tone
