Job Description
A paid acting opportunity is available for Gonna Take a Miracle, an original microdrama series from WatchAnnaBelle that highlights stories centered on Black women. Production is seeking talented supporting actors for multiple speaking roles filming in Atlanta. This non-union production offers paid day rates and is looking for performers who can bring depth, authenticity, and compelling performances to a character-driven series.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform a supporting role in a scripted microdrama series.
- Portray emotionally authentic and engaging characters.
- Collaborate with the director and cast during filming.
- Be available for production during the scheduled filming period.
- Follow all on-set production and performance guidelines.
Requirements
- Local to Atlanta preferred.
- Non-union talent.
- Seeking actors for the following roles:
- Black male, ages 50–56, to portray Sulay, a thoughtful therapist and widower.
- Black female, ages 50–55, to portray Solange, Miracle’s longtime best friend.
- Black male, ages 48–55, to portray Elijah, an entertainment attorney.
- Black female, ages 40–46, to portray Coco, an Atlanta beauty influencer.
- Black male, ages 50–56, to portray Eric, Miracle’s former husband.
- Female, ages 30–38, to portray Rebecca, Eric’s new wife.
- Black male who can portray ages 15–17 (must be at least 18 years old) to portray Ashley.
- Black male who can portray ages 15–17 (must be at least 18 years old), Nigerian-American performers encouraged, to portray Rashid. Wheelchair users are encouraged to apply.
- Must be able to portray the emotional and character traits required for the selected role.
- Some roles may involve intimacy with an intimacy coordinator present on set.
Compensation
- Paid day rate.
