Job Description

The University of Miami’s Cinematic Arts program is holding general auditions for upcoming student film productions. Actors selected through this process will be considered for a wide range of roles across more than 30 films scheduled for production this year.

This is an opportunity for performers to collaborate with emerging local directors, gain valuable on-set experience, and expand their professional network while building their acting reel. Auditions will be held in person, with self-tapes considered only for those unable to attend.

Job Responsibilities

• Audition for multiple student film projects under the University of Miami’s Cinematic Arts program

• Perform assigned roles in short films and student-led productions

• Collaborate with student directors, producers, and crew members

• Attend scheduled rehearsals and filming sessions as required

• Maintain professionalism throughout the production process

Requirements

• Open to actors of all experience levels

• Must submit a current headshot and resume

• Ability to attend in-person auditions in Coral Gables, Florida (self-tapes considered only if unable to attend)

• Availability for filming schedules as assigned per project

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
