Job Description:
Think Strong Productions, LLC is casting actors for a paid professional table read of the upcoming feature film Forgive & Forget, scheduled for September 2026 in Manhattan, New York City. The table read serves as an important development stage for the film and may lead to future casting opportunities, rehearsals, and a staged reading.
Forgive & Forget is an emotional family drama exploring childhood trauma, generational healing, Alzheimer’s disease, and forgiveness. The production is seeking actors who can authentically represent the cultural backgrounds and lived experiences of the characters.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in a professional table read in Manhattan.
- Perform one of the featured lead or supporting roles.
- Attend rehearsals and collaborate with the creative team.
- Be available during September 2026 if selected.

- Garret De Gannes – Male, 58, Black, Trinidadian-American. Loretta’s compassionate husband.
- Sha’Shauna “Shazzy” Culpepper – Female, 58, Black, Barbadian-American. Loretta’s estranged sister.
Supporting Roles
- Jules Culpepper – Female. Mother of Loretta and Shazzy, appearing in flashbacks.
- Jimmy Clarke – Male, 80, Black, Barbadian-American. Vietnam veteran and Welly’s lifelong friend.
- Roberto Alvarez – Male, late 30s. Director of Memory Care. (Role may also be cast as Roberta Alvarez.)
- Young Welly – Male, 20s, Black, Barbadian-American.
- CEO Jack Web – Male, 50s–60s. Confident CEO overseeing Loretta’s work.
