Waverly Hills Sanatorium, famously known as one of the most haunted places on Earth, is now casting actors for its 2025 Seasonal Haunted House attraction. This thrilling opportunity is perfect for performers looking to scare, entertain, and bring immersive horror experiences to life in a legendary location.

Actors will participate in live haunt performances every weekend during the haunted season, interacting with guests and helping create unforgettable fear-filled experiences.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform as a scare actor or character performer in the haunted house attraction

• Interact with guests while staying in character

• Follow safety protocols and maintain character throughout designated shifts

• Take direction from the creative and operations team

• Attend rehearsals and be available on scheduled weekends

Requirements

• Must be reliable and punctual

• Must be available every weekend during the haunted house season

• Prior experience in live performance or haunted attractions is a plus

• High energy, ability to work in dark/confined spaces and perform physical movement for extended periods

Compensation

• Paid (details to be discussed upon selection or interview)

• Additional makeup artist roles also available (see below)

Auditions

• First Round: Saturday, July 12 | 12 PM – 3 PM

• Second Round: Saturday, August 2 | 12 PM – 3 PM

• Gate Info: Use the main gate on Paralee Lane off Dixie Highway for both audition dates
