Job Description
An independent short film titled Plates (Mi Amor) is casting a lead actor to portray Lucy, a central character in a passionate and emotionally driven story. Produced by The Neighbors, this project offers actors the opportunity to collaborate with a creative team and work alongside established talent in a compelling indie production.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray the lead character “Lucy” in a narrative-driven short film
• Deliver an emotionally expressive and authentic on-screen performance
• Participate in rehearsals and filming over a short production schedule
• Collaborate with the director and cast to develop character dynamics
• Perform scenes involving intimacy in a professional, choreographed environment

Requirements

• Female-presenting actor, age 20s–30s
• Open to all ethnicities; androgynous appearance is a plus but not required
• Strong acting ability with emotional depth and range
• Comfortable with intimacy scenes including kissing and close contact (choreographed and consent-based)
• Must be able to work locally in Pennsylvania
• Must submit headshot, acting reel/resume, or short bio
