A short film production titled Pale Blue is seeking a dedicated and skilled 1st Assistant Camera (1st AC) for an ultra-low-budget project. This film tells a heartfelt story of a high school art teacher and his students attempting to return an alum’s painting to his family, only to uncover a deeper emotional truth.
Job Responsibilities

Support the Director of Photography in managing all camera operations.

Pull focus and maintain camera equipment throughout the shoot.

Work closely with the crew to ensure smooth and efficient production days.
Requirements

Must have experience as a 1st AC on short film sets.

Must own a Nucleus and focus puller.

Reliable, collaborative, and able to work in fast-paced indie environments.
Compensation

$50 per day.
