Job Description
A short film is now casting actors for an emotionally intense story about two estranged sisters searching for their alcoholic father, only to uncover dark mysteries beyond human understanding. This project explores family bonds, trauma, and the cosmic unknown. Must be local to Austin, TX or able to work as a local.
Job Responsibilities

Bring depth and authenticity to complex, emotionally-driven characters

Collaborate with the director and cast to bring the story to life on screen

Participate in rehearsals and filming sessions within scheduled dates

Deliver strong, nuanced performances across dramatic and suspenseful scenes
Requirements

Ashley: Female, 21–25. Compassionate, loyal, emotionally driven, somewhat naïve but fiercely determined. Holds on to hope against all odds.

Sydney: Female, 31–35. Hardened, guarded, deeply resentful. Protective of her family while carrying her father’s toxic legacy.

John: Male, 31–40. Quiet, rational, and supportive. Level-headed, gentle yet firm.

Richard: Male, 55–60. Broken, guilt-ridden, quietly desperate. Curious to a fault, possibly delusional or spiritually compromised. Believes his salvation may truly be damnation.

Must be based in Austin or willing to work as a local.
