A production company is casting for a romantic comedy short film under a SAG Microbudget Agreement. The project is seeking a talented male actor to portray “Marcus,” a charming and comedic lead character. Job Responsibilities:
- Portray the character “Marcus” in a short romantic comedy film
- Deliver engaging and comedic on-screen performances
- Participate in rehearsals, read-throughs, and scheduled filming days
- Collaborate with the director and cast to develop character dynamics
- Maintain professionalism on set and follow direction
Requirements:
- African American cisgender male
- Late 30s to early 40s
- Strong comedic timing and acting ability
- Ability to portray a charming, slightly goofy, and optimistic character
- Must be available for rehearsals and filming in Georgia
- Must submit headshot and reel (if available)
- Comfortable with non-intimate role (no kissing or physical contact required)
Compensation:
- $150 per day (2 days of filming)
