Job Description:

Rifted Podcast is seeking a new voice actor to take over the role of Josephine, a young woman in her early 20s. This is a paid role, and we are looking for someone who can match the previous actor’s cadence and voice while bringing their unique touch to the character. This opportunity is ideal for voice actors who are comfortable working in an inclusive environment that emphasizes LGBTQ+ representation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Voice the character Josephine for the Rifted Podcast.
• Deliver lines in a manner consistent with the character’s established traits and emotional depth.
• Collaborate with the podcast’s cast and crew, who primarily identify as LGBTQ+.
• Participate in recording sessions as scheduled, adhering to the production timeline.

Requirements:

• Ability to match the voice and cadence of the previous actor (refer to Episode 8, timestamp 31:00-33:10 for reference).
• Strong acting skills to convey Josephine’s friendly, enthusiastic, and slightly over-explanatory nature.
• Comfort with portraying a character who is a survivor of abuse and trauma, while highlighting her strength and resilience.
• Must be supportive and respectful of LGBTQ+ representation and themes within the podcast.
• Demo reels are allowed but not required for initial submission.

Character Background:

• Josephine is a well-adjusted young woman, thanks to her and her adoptive mother’s efforts in healing from past trauma.
• She is engaged to another young woman named Elizabeth.
• Josephine’s speech patterns are enthusiastic and friendly, often oversharing information.

Compensation:
