Job Description
The indie horror short film THEM is now casting three roles for an upcoming production shooting in New Jersey. This non-union project explores generational trauma, mental health, and the lingering effects of childhood experiences through a dark and unsettling narrative.
The film will shoot over select weekends during Summer and Fall 2026. This is a paid, indie low-budget project.
Roles Casting
Linda
Female, Caucasian, ages 50–60 (to play 55)
Abby’s mother. Sarcastic but genuine. Wants to reconnect with her daughter but feels emotionally pushed away.
Thomas
Male, ages 50–65
Abby’s therapist. Calm, supportive, and genuine. Helps Abby confront and work through her mental struggles.
Jonathan
Male, Caucasian, ages 50–60 (to play 55)
Abby’s father. Struggles with addiction and impulsive behavior. Emotionally volatile.
