Job Description
An independent production team is casting actors for an upcoming proof-of-concept web series titled Rats & Snakes. This sci-fi drama follows a struggling Queens janitor who uncovers a hidden reptilian species controlling society from within. Inspired by politically charged sci-fi thrillers, the series explores themes of awakening, control, and rebellion. Casting directors are seeking passionate performers with authentic screen presence for lead and supporting roles.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform scripted scenes for the web series production
- Collaborate with the director and creative team during filming
- Attend rehearsals, self-tape auditions, and scheduled shoot dates
- Deliver emotionally grounded and engaging performances on camera
- Contribute creatively to the development of the indie proof-of-concept series
Requirements

- French ancestry preferred
- Quiet, observant, emotionally grounded personality
- Strong dramatic acting ability preferred
Jaylen “Jay” Jacobe
- Male actor in his early 20s
- Charismatic, confident, funny, and street-smart presence
- Strong natural chemistry with ensemble casts preferred
Nadia
- Female actor ages 18–26
- Guyanese or Caribbean talent preferred, but all ethnicities welcome
- Warm, intelligent, and emotionally grounded presence
