Job Description
An independent feature film, No Way to Home, is hiring experienced and passionate crew members to support its production. This emotionally charged social drama explores themes of homelessness, fractured morality, and survival in a modern urban setting. The project is currently in development and pre-production, with filming expected to begin in late 2025 in London. Crew members with a deep connection to human stories and a collaborative mindset are encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the director and production team to execute a grounded, cinematic vision

  • Bring technical expertise to a character-driven, low-budget indie film environment

  • Adapt to flexible production needs and creatively problem-solve on set

  • Support storytelling through lighting, sound, design, editing, and more

Requirements

  • Positions available:

    • Assistant Director (1st AD)

    • Production Designer / Art Director

    • Sound Recordist & Boom Operator

    • Gaffer / Lighting Crew

    • Script Supervisor

    • Editor

    • Composer (urban/ambient tone preferred)

    • Production Assistants

  • Experience with indie or social issue-driven projects preferred

  • Ability to work with low-budget resources in a high-impact creative environment

  • Must be reliable, passionate, and open to storytelling collaboration

  • Some roles may be remote or open to support from India

A socially-charged independent feature film is casting lead and supporting roles for No Way to Home, a raw, emotionally-driven story about homelessness, fractured morality, and survival in a modern urban environment. Inspired by impactful dramas like I, Daniel Blake and The Wrestler, this character-focused project will explore the quiet struggles of overlooked lives in a gritty, realistic style. Filming is tentatively set for late 2025 in London, with select flexibility for remote involvement.

Job Responsibilities
