Job Description

FUNarios is casting Atlanta-based actors for multiple roles in an upcoming non-union comedy webisode production. The project comes from the Atlanta-based digital comedy brand founded by comedian Lonnie Smith, which produces original sketch comedy and online entertainment. Casting is seeking performers for a wide range of lead, co-lead, co-star, supporting, best friend, and love-interest roles. Talent must be based in Atlanta, Georgia, as this is a local-hire production.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform scripted comedic scenes for the FUNarios webisode.
• Accurately portray the personality and comedic characteristics of the selected role.
• Attend required auditions, rehearsals, fittings, or production dates as requested.
• Collaborate professionally with the director, casting team, and fellow performers.
• Take direction and make adjustments during filming.
• Maintain availability for scheduled production dates.

Requirements

• Must qualify for the demographic requirements of the selected role.
• Strong acting and comedic performance abilities preferred.
• Must be available for applicable audition and filming dates.
• Online demo clips are encouraged with submissions when available.

Compensation

• Lead Roles: $150/day
• Supporting Roles: $125/day
• Co-Star Roles: $100/day

The casting team is also seeking African American male performers who can play the guitar and/or harmonica. Dynamic actors with strong stage presence are encouraged to apply.

• Dovie: Playing age 48. Charming, quirky, and slightly mysterious.
• African American men who can play the guitar and/or harmonica are especially encouraged to apply.
• Must be able to work in Atlanta.
