Job Description

The upcoming stage play Tank Stranger is casting talented actors for multiple roles in Atlanta. This production tells a magical, character-driven story centered on family, ancestry, and belonging. The casting team is also seeking African American male performers who can play the guitar and/or harmonica. Dynamic actors with strong stage presence are encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform in the stage production Tank Stranger.
• Bring emotionally rich and authentic characters to life.
• Attend rehearsals and scheduled performances.
• Collaborate with the director and fellow cast members.
• Submit professional casting materials for consideration.

Requirements

• Tank: Playing age 18–19. Energetic, funny, and studious.
• Vonn: Playing age 39. Grounded, commanding, with a mystical presence.
• Sephine: Playing age 42. Fierce, protective, and strong-willed matriarch.
• Dovie: Playing age 48. Charming, quirky, and slightly mysterious.
• African American men who can play the guitar and/or harmonica are especially encouraged to apply.
• Must be able to work in Atlanta.
• Submit a headshot and resume.

A production team is hosting an in-person table read in Atlanta, Georgia and is seeking a wide range of talented actors and actresses for an upcoming project. Job Responsibilities

• Participate in an in-person table read with a professional, prepared performance

• Read script pages aloud with clear delivery, character choices, and strong listening

• Take direction and adjust tone, pacing, and intention as needed

• Collaborate respectfully with other performers and the creative team

Requirements

• Must be able to attend in person in Atlanta, GA

• Open to a wide range of actors and actresses

• Strong reading skills and comfort performing live in a group setting

• Must submit a headshot and résumé for consideration

• Reliable, punctual, and professional communication
